Imagine that! You've been waiting to go on holiday to Liverpool, you finally arrive, you decide to take the 500 to get to your hotel, and within ten minutes your bus is an inferno
Welcome to Liverpool!

Welcome to Liverpool!
You even pay extra for the privilege!
All joking aside its good news that everyone got off safely
I wonder whether this will mean the Pulsar at Speke will be staying at bit longer unless Speke have got enough spare vehicles to cover
It might mean 2475/7 sticking around for a while yet
Isn't there a spare Citaro at Speke, that's never been used. I don't know what state it's in, whether it could be used as a replacement. or combined with the front half of 6005 if it's relatively undamaged - but given the fires on these in the past, probably deckers will be the replacements
If you mean MA1, I don't think it's in the best of conditions to be used! :P
I have seen it said on facebook that Speke had two for spares, at least one was seen in a Barnsley scrap yard recently. Maybe MA1 was one.

MA24 may be slightly out I think is the one that replaced MA1 at Speke and tbh there is not much left of that
MA1 departed for scrap some time ago if I'm not mistaken.
MA1 was scrapped and 6024 is not in a running order to begin with, hence it being withdrawn due to "Cost to fix". A half burnt out articulated bus is going to cost more to repair then 6024. It will be withdrawn.
Looks like 7637 and 7652 might have to stay a whilst longer.
