What happened to this ALX400
Electrical fire last year i think it was. barely anything left bodywise
Another day, another Myllennium on the 82. There is no excuse really to have these sheds knocking about on busy routes like the 82. At least it wasn't a former Birkenhead example.

A depot bus shortage is good enough for me!
Funny how the myllenium is on 82, yet Gemini 4444 was on the 81

Hi, the reason why the gemini is on the 81/A is becuase it did the this morning's J3. There should be a a Gem on every route apart from 75,76 and the 78.

Geminis should NOT be wasted on those JX services, especially if they're going to cause issues with other, far-busier(!) services - like in this situation. What's wrong with a Commander being allocated to the board that goes onto the 81 so that the Gemini is free to go onto the 82 instead of something that shouldn't?
Contract specifications, perhaps?

If that is the case then a Gemini would be on 81/81A every day and at roughly the same time, that is not the case. Plus in this case there is no reason why it couldn't be changed to a commander or something else, the depot is close enough to both 81/81A terminus.

I agree with you, however you may not see it at the same times because the timetables for the JX services aren't the same each day.
