i live on 1 of the ecocitys rutes the brankome number 2 and i have noticed they run monday to saterday day times depending on how many they have filled up norm about 8 of them are out norm spread between rutes 2,11.12 . they start knocking them off around 6.30 pm with solos the replacing them on evenings and they dont see service sundays as most of darlington workings are solos on sundays. hope that helps ya : )

I asked the other week about whether EcoCities would operate on Sundays. You indicated that these are unlikely to operate on Sundays at least for now. Do they at least run into the evenings on Saturdays? I could ride one then instead!
The DAFs will replace the ex-Midlands Volvo Olympian I understand while the Darts are replacing MPDs at Redcar/Whitby.
As for the EcoCitys, depending on which boards on the 12 they are on, the last X66 may sometimes throw one up due to it working off a 12 (other one works off the 9/10 so can be Dart or Solo worked).
Pulsar 1456 was on the 17a/b today, while sister 1457 replaced 1772 on the 7. Prestige 4052 appeared on the 5, while OmniCity 4662 was back on its original route by appearing on the X6.
Thanks Wayne and Kuyoyo. I shall have to time my afternoon carefully, as I arrive at Middlesbrough just before 12.00 and wish to ride a leather-seated OmniCity and Temsa Avenue before proceeding to Darlington to ride an EcoCity. Maybe I shall get a train from Saltburn to Darlington to save time!
Do the hybrids at Blyth also have the same fuelling issues as well because there always seems to be a normal Gemini or pulsar out on the route everyday, or is there not enough hybrids to cover the pvr?

No, given the B5LHs fuel the same way as a Diesel-engined bus. As for number of Hybrids vs PVR, there is actually enough for 1 spare given the PVR of the 308 is 9 (Every 15 minutes, round trip of 2 hours 8 minutes).
I noted normal Gemini 7607 on 308 yesterday. It has lost its QUORUM livery and is back in standard colours.

Reduced need for deckers on the X4/X5 coupled to the increased need for them on the X10/X11 means 7607/8 are both being repainted back into standard livery, although 7608 was still in service in Quorum livery on Thursday.
27-braned Pulsar 1449 replaced 4662 on the 5 this afternoon while 4662 slotted onto the 27.
