They will presumably become 1524-1533.

A case of wait and see methinks! A very trusted source within Arriva states that of the 49 Pulsars leaving Merseyside, 23 to Arriva Midlands & 26 to Arriva Shires, none on the list I got are heading to the NE and whilst the post on Facebook lists the same ones, the breakdown between Midlands & Shires doesn't match what I have.....we'll find out soon enough which is right :-)

And yet the list you PM'd me with doesn't match the original list for the Midlands posted by a trusted source on the Yahoo Group - I'm leaning more towards the list that has 3113-22 as North East bound myself but we will discover soon which list is the correct one.
This may represent a change of plan for Arriva North West to be releasing Pulsars to areas including the North East, the Midlands and the Shires. I thought the original intention was for Pulsars released soon by E40Ds to replace earlier vehicles, in particular X or Y-reg examples.
'Sapphire' upgrades are now confirmed as followed:
6 (Durham - West Auckland or Cockfield) - in the Spring using 2 new ADL Enviro400s 6 new Wright Streetlites and 5 displaced Pulsars from the 7
22 (Durham - Peterlee - Sunderland) and 24 (Durham - Peterlee - Hartlepool) later in the year using refurbished Pulsars (likely to be the 10 ex-North West examples as Durham's 61-reg examples are all being displaced to other depots)
It's also more-or-less confirmed that the order of 5 Enviro400s for the 7 (Durham - Darlington) will be split 4 to Darlington and 1 to Durham with 4 Pulsars from Darlington going to Durham while Durham's present Pulsars will be used on both the 6 and 7.
The January Allocation was released yesterday and see the following movement:
1443's return saw the end of 4001 on Thursday when it ran out of test - as such the number of active Prestiges drops to 3 (4007/38/9)
The entry into service of Enviro200s 1321/2/3/4 allow 1311 to move to Jesmond as an additional spare, 1313 to go for repairs and 1315 to reserve
1636/7/9's time at Blyth is over with the return of 1773/4/5, likewise 1792 returns to active fleet
Previously reported as going for MAX refurbishment, Blyth's 7607 has now been swapped in the programme for sister 7609 after 7607's engine repairs - the work on Durham's Geminis 7618-20/6/7 has also now been postponed
I saw Pulsar 2 1416 out in MAX base livery whilst out and about today, along with 1443.
First time I've seen both in the flesh, and they look excellent!
