'SightSeeker' Enviro400 7503 is currently working for Redcar depot on local trips, being used on the 64 today after appearing on the 81 yesterday.
This has returned to service, seen in Darlington on Saturday

Arriva are currently operating the Metro replacement service 900 Haymarket to Four Lane Ends with vehicles hired in from Garnetts and TGM. They are also operating service 901 Haymarket to Airport using their own vehicles. So far I have seen the following in use -

900 Garnetts T693KPU, V173MEV, X288 NNO, Y359/361/508 NHK

900 TGM S236 JUA, T312/313/317/318/319/320 FGN, LJ58 GCF (and T421 GGO parked up spare at Regent Centre one day last week)

901 Arriva 7445/46/66-76/78-80, 7520, 7609/12

Of course there will have been other vehicles used as I have only seriously viewed these services on 4 days up to now.

The four Garnetts V and Y reg now have destination panels proclaiming 'Metro Rail Replacement 900' so I would expect them to be the regular performers from now on.

Service 900 requires 5 vehicles off-peak but another 5 turn out for the afternoon rush-hour. Service 901 appears to require 9 vehicles off-peak (not sure whether there are any extras). I think that some 900 turns in the evening are worked by Arriva as vehicles become spare off the day services. That certainly happened on Sunday when 7478 turned up at FLE on the 1920 departure, having taken over from T317 FGN.

These services are planned to finish on Friday 30 August.

901 requires 10 buses off-peak with 2 extras joining in at peak times. Officially, the vehicles allocated for the work are the newly refurbished DAFs apart from 7477.
A further arrival from Arriva Yorkshire is Volvo B7TL/Alexander ALX400 651 (W651 CWX). It's believed this and a sister are transferring to replaced the recently transferred Spectras.

For a short while this morning, Prestige 4048 was on the 15.
Enviro400 7504 was today working from Redcar on local trips and saw use on the 64
Jesmond today had DAF Coach 1213 on the 306 while 1480 and 4004 were on the 55. 7516 was sent by Ashington for the 901 instead of 7470 which ended up on the X20/20 before they were swap just before 4 this afternoon.
Prestige 4001 was oddly on the 29 today, while sister 4063 replaced 4659 on the 5 from Middlesbrough at 0945. 1923 meanwhile replaced 4043 on the 5a at 1100, before 4043 went onto the 21a. 1772 was on the 17a/b.

Once again, 'SightSeeker' Enviro400 7503 was on the 64/64a.
Once again, 'SightSeeker' Enviro400 7503 was on the 64, as was sister 7502. Meanwhile, 1769 was on the 17 this afternoon and 1736 was on the 63.

Redcar still have ongoing problems with the power on 7501-7503, which see's them running around on local services for the time being.

Im told that two more deckers are due from Ashington, before the Bank Holiday weekend.
