The problem is that a full gas service can't be run until permanent refuelling pumps are put in place at the depot in July, as mentioned previously by Kuyoyo.

Thanks for your update. I am coming early to ensure that I ride a leather-seated OmniCity in Middlesbrough prior to cascade to routes north of Newcastle. I can still ride an EcoCity in Runcorn, and will just have a bit of time on my hands in Darlington before proceeding to Richmond (and then Lancaster via Hawes).

Leather-seated OmniCitys are rarely used on a Sunday, as almost every route use either or Cadet or Pulrsars. So, Sundays aren't the day to try looking to ride one of them.

Thank you for preparing me. Ironically I saw one on the August Bank Holiday 2010, but I think this was on a MoorsBus route. My intention is to do Middlesbrough - Redcar - Saltburn on the Saturday, but I do know to prioritise these buses for the Saturday.

It is a bit of a nuisance that, when attempting to access North East maps on the Arrivabus website "We are currently updating our network maps, they will be back here soon". I sincerely hope the maps are back in time for my visit in May.

It will have been on the Moorsbus, although they are not being used on there this year.
Stockton Prestige 4007 set itself on fire this morning on the A174 near Lazenby apparently.

That one is actually one of the better ones! So, Stockton are now two full size buses down (1711 covering 1451), and there's three Prestiges in reserve storage at Durham (4024/32/57), what is the liklihood of one of those turning up at Stockton this week?

All of the ex GNE DAF's are far better, probably the best Arriva one is 4056 since it's had a full refurbishment with new panels and seat coverings, a repaint into standard livery, LED display and a new engine, sounds godly!

In other news T307 FGN is on the 43 today so I presume the movements for Belmont occured yesterday 2 weeks late!
is it me but are buses bursting into flames seems to be more of them in the last 10 yrs than ever befor never heard any leyland lynxs bursting into flames .if this is right i think arriva need to look at relibilty more than cost when it comes to new buses .i know pulsars are very good but tezmas and daf engined buses seem to be plaged with issues even down to the coaches
