Doesn't say so on the website so not sure. As for news MPD 1722 has moved to Jesmond away from Durham thanks to Steven Hodgson for photo.

I don't even know what they are going to be used on but I think they will use them on the Johnsons Scholars then the 50/754 as that's what they interwork with which is a waste for the 50 and 754's loadings! I hope they see use on the 63 and 64 and the 43 as they are the busiest services.

Anything that works onto schools will probably be the best place to find the Tridents, if they're replacing deckers. Remember the 43 is going to every 15 minutes in mid September, so the OmniCitys and Pulsars should be able to manage any loadings on there.

1722 is there covering for fire-damaged B10BLE 4519.
Ahh ok I see, it wouldn't surprise me if it stayed as it is an oddity in Durham.

I don't think it will, probably end up moving elsewhere or be withdrawn.
Sorry, I worded that awkwardly, that's what I meant.

Wording made sort-of-sense - I was meaning it would either be withdrawn from Jesmond if/when 4519 returns to service (the more likely option) or move to another depot to replace a sister example.

I think they're more focused on the Tyneside and Northumberland changes at the moment - they are major changes planned for County Durham from the same day as the Contract changes take place which is apparently the 28th October.

Talking of County Durham contracts, Arriva have lost the 33 (Ferryhill-Hartlepool), 35a (Bishop Auckland-Spennymoor-Ferryhill, currently 2b/c), evening 57a/24a (Durham-Coxhoe-Peterlee/Peterlee-Hartlepool) and daytime 57 (Durham-Coxhoe-Peterlee) to Scarlet Band.
