Prestige 4042 has transferred from Stockton to Durham along with an X1/X2 board, and was on the X1/X2 today. Meanwhile, Stockton began using Pulsars on the X1/X2 once again today, 1455/8/91 forming the first day of the operation. OmniCitys 4654/8 became the first to operate to Whitby since arriving at Stockton depot on the 5. 4658 should have worked the last trip on the 30 but was swapped with 4040 which should have worked the last Stockton working on the 5.
this was seen yesterday in the Haymarket on a Dinnington service

Durham Trident 7434 was on the X1 tonight, covering the 1925 trip from Middlesbrough.
I was in Leeds last Saturday and noticed that their Volvo B5LHs have standard seating, unlike the Liverpool examples with leather seating. I was therefore wondering what type of seating the Newcastle ones have?

I have missed this forum for the last 4 weeks for various reasons. I can tell that some leather-seated Omnicities have now left Stockton but have they all left now?

The Blyth examples have the standard seats.

All of 4660-2 have now left Stockton, been repainted and are in daily service on the 685 alongside sister 4664.

Thanks Kuyoyo for your quick and informative answer as usual. Now I know just how helpful your advice not to wait until August to ride a leather Omnicity in Middlesbough was!

So, as they are now on the 685, are the V-reg coaches doing other Northumberland-area routes instead?
Some of the coaches are in the process of being made into driver trainers.

1206/10-2 are being converted into driver trainers, 1206 already done and earmarked to replace 1005 at Ashington while 1210-2 are destined for Stockton to replaced 1002/3. The original plan was for 1207-9 to be converted but this has now been dropped due to their refurbishment back in 2010.
The start of the Metro Replacement yesterday saw a few transfers:

DAF DB250/Alexander ALX400: 7467/75 Ashington to Blyth, 7478 Durham to Jesmond, 7479 Ashington to Jesmond
DA SB220LF/Plaxton Prestige: 4004 is back at Jesmond, 4005 re-enters service at Blyth, 4054 returns to service at Blyth from Reserve at Stockton (although was in service on the 306 for Jesmond today)
Volvo Olympian/Northern Countries Palatine I: 7362/6/9 re-enter service at Ashington, 7367 re-enters service at Blyth ex-Ashington reserve
VDL DB300/Wright Gemini 2: 7612 Blyth to Ashington
DAF SB220/Ikarus: 4074 withdrawn to disposal (replaced as a Metro Cover by 4054)

The ex-Yorkshire Spectras are now officially numbered 7482/3, and are reportedly due for Ashington depot to release a further 2 Enviro400s to Redcar for the summer X93 timetable.
In a chaostic day on Teesside, a number of odd workings:

1906 1458 and 4654 all appeared on the 21a at various points in the day (4654 was swapped onto there off the X6)
4646 appears to have replaced a Gemini on the X1/X2, while Stockton had 4006 on there, for most of the afternoon, most X1s were turning short in Durham due to the delays in Middlesbrough
1460 meanwhile was being used on Crew Shuttle between the depot and the High Street
