Enviro400 7512/3 arrived at Redcar depot yesterday.
Redcar had Enviro400s 7512/3 on the 81 today, while due to traffic congestion the 1625 X93 from Middlesbrough didn't operate.

MPD 1769 was on the 9 today, while 1492 appeared on the 17b this afternoon as a breakdown replacement. 'The Best One' Pulsar 1404 was on the X66 today, while MAN EcoCity 4803 was used on the X1 in its place.
7502 was on the 64 today, while 1743 was on the 5 and 1453 was on the 28/30.
Jesmond had 1210 on the 306 today while 1213 was on the 55. 1211 was on the X15 instead of the X16. 1212 is now withdrawn.
A nightmare day today on X93s saw the 1425 from Middlesbrough, operated by branded Enviro400 7501, depart55 minutes late. Sister 7502 on the 1525 departed 10 minutes late.
Prestige 4045 made an odd appearance on the X1/X2 today. 4072 worked what is supposed to be its final day in service on the 42, also on its last day as a stand-alone service (from Monday, it will interwork with one Cockfield trip on the 6, and joined by a Scarlet Band-operated service 42 for an almost half hourly weekday daytime service to Brasside from North Road).
The new services started today, and after a quick trip out and about, I can confirm the following:

County Durham
The 86 interworks with the 56/57, using Solos. The 87 runs stand-alone, using a decker (presumably due to the school run).

Tyneside
The 51 appears to be operated by Optare Solos, the 54 likewise although there was a Pulsar on there today. The 52, like the 53, uses anything Jesmond have due to interworking with the 43 in Cramlington.
Ashington continue to operate the Morpeth 44 runs (today still running as 44A according to the destination screens).
An unusual working yesterday was Solo 2831 on the 16.50 X10 Newcastle-Blyth.

Which was on the 1444 54 from Newcastle, suggesting that either it was taken off the 54 on its return from Whitley Bay or that particular 54 board does that X10 trip.
