Marshalls have always been cheap and nasty buses with terrible rattles.
I remember when MTL first bought them, they were EVEN WORST than they are now! Apparently, Arriva discovered that the bench seats shook too much, so they fitted a metal bracket between the seat and body. This has had limited success though, because they still shake, rattle and roll excessively.

By the way, repaired Interurban fire victim 7674 (V674 DVU) is out on route 61 today.
Today really could be the last time you get to ride an ex-MTL bus that's still in service with Arriva.

I agree, the marshalls have always been horrible things, they were really the last throw of the dice for MTL and probably reflect the state of affairs at MTL towards the end.
According to a source on Facebook (credit to them), 2241, 2243, 2244, 2247 and 2248 will all transfer to Southport in January.

It was posted somewhere that the Pulsar's from Aberystwyth (2660-2666) were supposed to be heading for Bootle after the 21 December.

Bootle drivers, however I've seen the odd Green Lane driver working on them in recent years!
Ex cross river Enviro 400s 4418,4419 & 4420 CX58GBU,GBV & GBY were operating the Maghull- Ormskirk rail replacement service yesterday one of these was parked at Maghull station all day as a spare bus.

Aye Michael, effective from 16 Feb according to the VOSA thread (page 124).
Peoplesbus are reacting by changing their 52A timings AND their route from 25 Feb
