The 'wandering' DLA 4063 found itself on the 52/52A today, keeping up its reputation.
2239 had a bit of a problem 2 days back , whilst working in an around Rice Lane it did need a battery boost though after movement white&blue smoke billowed out the exhaust. T304 FGN almost brokedown yesterday a case of the driver struggling to get into 1st gear with the fan belt screaming , interesting day at the office!
2239, wasnt aware that Bootle had 2239, do you mean 2219 or 2229 as they are former Bootle Buses but now work out of Green Lane and would be on Rice Lane working a 68.
Bootle currently have 7675 on the 53, what joy.

I haven't seen this shed on the 311 recently, which is a great thing! It being on the 53 isn't great for obvious "QBP" reasons and the fact that it only has one, small wheelchair bay. Still, only a five-minute wait would have to be had if two wheelchairs/prams needed to board - well, the 53A was delayed in the afternoon due to problematic traffic-lights at Aintree Merseyrail Station!

I had Pulsar 2 MX09 LYF (2944) on my 311 journey from Skelmersdale to Aintree yesterday. I must say that this bus has improved since my last ride on it when it was sluggish (but not "slow"), although it's spent quite some time off of the road recently. It seemed to kick-down every time it went off of the line, although that may have been down to the driver as he was one of the decent ones. It didn't sound normal, but not bad. It rattled and squeaked a bit (even in Town Green...), but I found it to be a comfortable ride. Interior-wise, it wasn't too vandalised and it seemed to be in an OK condition on the outside.
DAF/ALX400 on the 311 at midday today. Also, Enviro400 on the 53A - possibly MX09 LXM (4430).
2638 out on the 60 this afternoon

Ah ! my apologies, I forgot GL now run the 68 route
I've just found a photo of Pulsar 2 MX12 KXB (3112) when it was brand-new:

Considering that it's been running around with no stripe or fleet-numbers on its front-end since it started at Bootle, I reckon that it must have had an accident whilst operating in London and had a new front-end/front-end repaint.
