I wonder if Bootle will make their mind up as to whether the 59/61 should be decker operated or not. It's been a mish mash between singles and doubles for quite some time now. I think the 61 could do with them, but not the 59.

Hmmm...
Bootle will simply continue to use a mix of buses on these services, not every journey needs a decker as some journeys are busier than others and at every 12 minutes they don't have much choice but to mix it up a bit.
The 61 during the day is normally all decker operated, with evening journeys single deck

No it's not, I am a daily user and there is always a mix, in fact this afternoon on my way home from work there was 4 deckers including mine and 3 singles. At every 12 minutes there is always going to be both.
of an evening the 61 works in with the 60 so will have deckers on it of a night too
Nice to see a decker on the 350 escpecially an Enviro400 but i read somewhere on the old forum that deckers were not supposed to work the 350 as they posed a security risk at ashworth hospital or has that been relaxed now? But if a decker was to work the 350 it could always terminate at the bus stop on the main road miss out the ashworth internal roads and turn round at the M58 roundabout.

Apparently, that was the case. I think that that situation has been relaxed now, though. Besides, the service doesn't need to have double-deckers on it! It only becomes busy if it's running ahead of a 311.
I think 7648 has returned here again, fairly sure I seen it on the 58 this morning, only caught a quick glimpse but certainly looked like it to me.
An allover advert for vodafone liveried Enviro400 was on the 350 yesterday and DAF ALX400 S252JUA was on it today.
While browsing the fleetlist found out that marshall 7674 is NFS with fire damage anyone know when and where this happened? Presume its now at st helens for repair?
