The 59 and 60 don't interwork - it's the 59 and 61 which do on Mondays - Saturdays. The 60/61 interwork on Sundays.

Looked like there had been an oil leak....lady bus driver looked quite worried about it - bless her!

Buses from Lime Street were diverted by Mersytravel man via St Johns Lane and Whitechapel but was letting buses in that need to pick up from stands 9-12.
Can anyone confirm whether 3018 is back in service after the damage it received a while back?

She wasn't the driver - she was on "stand-by" and got called out to monitor the bus until the tow-truck arrived to take it back to the depot. The actual driver must be sick of buses breaking down for him; it always seems to be his bus that breaks down!

There were some excellent allocations today. Three DAF/ALX400s were out on Liverpool-bound services - S252 JUA (4082) was on the 53A, S274 JUA (4094) was on the 56 and S275 JUA (4095) was on the 55! I expect that one of these double-deckers replaced CX58 FZG (2925)'s duty as there are usually lots of DAF 'deckers spare on Saturdays.

I haven't seen it out yet! I don't think that it's been noted back in service anywhere either. If I see it out, I'll post it in here! Smile
