Plaxton Pointer 2 R551 ABA (7551) was unusually on the 52/52A today, again! I had a ride on it - it was great and it could have easily put the ride-quality of many newer Darts to shame. The only issue with it was its' gearbox, which was a bit rough and made the bus perform sluggishly off the line.
Just when I thought that Bootle had learnt a lesson after the other day 2265 turned up on my 61 this evening with similar results to the other day and the ALX200 is worse than the marshall due to legroom. However, that aside this one moves well but could really do with refurbishment inside as the seating area at the last row of seats before the back is pretty shocking and could with a good clean up.
4428 (MX09 LXK) Trident2/Enviro400 decker is on the 54-THORNTON today, carrying two full decks of lovely fresh air.

And if you're wondering why your 55-OLD ROAN's late, that's 'cos Interurbanised Superslug 4094 (S274 JUA) DB250/ALX400 decker is ruining it, sorry I mean RUNNING IT, running it.
Ah, that explains it thenWink

I agree. I rode on 4094 yesterday and I'm still surprised that it managed to get up Hunter Street in Liverpool without stopping! I managed to get a photo of it, anyway:

ALX200s X263 OBN (2263) and X268 OBN (2268) were both unusually on the 53A yesterday. For the majority of the day, 2268 displayed "NETHERTON 53A" when Aintree-bound... Also on the 53A was DAF/ALX400 S270 JUA (4030), which I managed to photograph:

Cadet DK55 FXD (2519) was unusually on the 345; with 2519 was DAF/ALX400 T302 FGN (4062), too.
Today was an interesting day, regarding the 52/52A. Marshall V667 DVU (7667), ALX200 X265 OBN (2265) and DAF/ALX400 T298 FGN (4058) were all on there in that order! I managed to photograph them all:
7667 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael2770...otostream/
2265 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael2770...otostream/
4058 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael2770...otostream/

ALX200 X263 OBN (2263) was unusually on the 53A again today - displaying "Netherton" on Aintree-bound journeys...

Also, Enviro400 MX09 LXL (4429) was unusually on the 53 and Plaxton Pointer 2 T821 PNB (2321) was unusually on the 62/62A.
The Enviro 400's seem to be cropping up everywhere recently, I noted one has a new exhaust fitted which comes out of the side like the Laird Street examples , just thought I'd post it if anyone's interested
Passing the depot on the 61 tonight and seen RNW dropping off what looked like a marshall dart, couldnt see which one it was but it wasnt 7645 as I seen that going through Walton Vale, the bus was in New Colours.

Maybe Motor Mayham may be able to tell us if 7615 has moved from St Helens, if it has well maybe, personally though really with it being a Marshall it was probably a break down
Going by a photo on facebook, it looks to have been 7639.

It had broken down at the alighting stop in Queen Square Bus Station at around 16:00. Was the second day in a row where a Marshall Dart had failed in Queen Square Bus Station!
