2317 used to be a really good bus. I remember when it turned into a "shed" - it was when Bootle ran the C2/C3/C4. It had a loud, one-pitch-only cooling-fan - even the driver, who I knew, said it didn't sound very good. I wouldn't mind if it came back into service for a while; it'd be nice to ride on a "childhood bus" again.
The T-PNB darts were nice buses once, shame how they have ended up really, they went downhill when they came off the city circulars.
They've done well for their age. In theory, they're like ex-London buses - they've ran around Liverpool for most of their lives, so they've started to break when the allocator has put them on demanding, longer-distance services, such as the 311! Generally, though, they're a nice batch - certainly put a lot of newer buses to shame!
I wonder if anybody will preserve one, or am I going too far?!
One of the darts on 311 caught fire outside morrisons In Ormskirk this afternoon the road was shut
If that was where I think it was Skemnational I bet that caused some fun and games round Ormskirk, and caused delays to some if not all services at the time
Anybody know which dart it was that caught fire and how it was, also was anybody on the bus at the time and if so was everybody ok.
Cadet DK55 FXD (2519) was on the 52/52A today - very unusual!
Deckers 4027, 4031 and 4065, plus Speke's 3332 were on the Creamfields shuttle service this afternoon

Palatine 2 R319 WVR (3319) was also on there this morning (credit to a source on Facebook).
4423 (MX09 LXE) Trident2/Enviro400 decker now has an overall pale blue bodywrap for 'Vodafone Freebees'
That makes two Enviro400 deckers at Bootle with bodywraps.
