Saw ex-Bootle Dennis Lance/ East Lancs N212 TPK(think f/no 1942) this morning in Orrell, Wigan after finishing a school run. It's working for UK Coachways a Wigan independent firm. Thought these were all scrapped by now. It was in pristine condition in a white over blue livery.
One of these was painted in new colours not long before withdrawal, wonder if it was that one as probably had an overhaul at the same time.

It was N213 TPK mate, in fact I'm pretty sure that N218 TPK was as well but I can't find a photo of it.

remember them on 61s when i went to alder hey as a kid
Do any of the plaxton verde bodied lances survive or were they all scrapped? Always remember travelling on them on 61/As.

Yeah 1943 and 1948 were in the new livery.
Enviros 4400, 4413 & 4414 were working the City Centre Rail Replacement services this afternoon
