when did pulsar 2996 & 2686 arrive R311 WVR and does anyone know if there staying or on test be better on 84 than Cadets

Here because of problems with the DLAs

Ahhhh winsford & problems with DLAs goes together like fish n chips hahaha!!!

Some of ours aint too bad but others are absolute sheds, 4156 seems to have taken over the breakdown honours from 4143 these days. Both 2996/2686 are really nice buses, much smoother on the 84 than any cadet or centro lets just hope they hang around for a while & that southport get a move on then we'll get their old DLAs surely gotta be better than current fleet.

Southport's old DLA's, do you mean Southport BT7L's as can't see Southports DLA being around much longer.

Yeah it's the B7TL/ALX400's we're getting, Not the DLA's.

I have just noticed on the cheshire east web site, Arriva propose to withdrawn their service 38 after the departure of the 17.10pm ex MF - Crewe, on saturdays, this will leave over a 3 hour gap before Bakers tendered service 38 departs Macclesfield at 20.35pm, there is nothing on the cheshire east web site to say any tendered journey's will be introduced to replace Arriva's now almost monthly cuts in service, seems poor planning for a route that cheshire east were recently stating was a main artery route in cheshire east.

The website was updated a few hours later than your post presumably after confirmation as to who would operate a tendered service in place of the withdrawn Arriva service.

Bakerbus are to operate the Saturday only 38 journeys from Macclesfield at 1835 and 1935 and from Crewe at 1935 to replace withdrawn Arriva Saturday journeys from 7th June 2014.

Good choice of buses between Crewe and Sandbach here then! 37E at 19:34 off Crewe, then the 38 at 19:35!

Luckily the 84 isn't changing that much, only the withdrawl of the 23:00 Crewe-Nantwich service
