Does anyone know if 2950 has been repainted? Thanks

Do any other bus routes cover the Handforth - Cheadle section of route 130?
A very pleasant surprise for me today was a trip on cadet 2491 between sandbach & northwich.

Must say I was delighted with how well it's aged, now has WiFi fitted but still retains the old green interior which still looks quite smart. Seems reasonably zippy, obviously it's got a few squeaks & rattles which are to be expected with age. Bodywork was really tidy & driver said it handled well & he'd take an old cadet over a plaxton centro anyday of the week!!!!
2610 broken down in Tarporley it was the 12.38 off crewe and we just picked up its passenger I'm on 4211 the 1.38 off crewe and she goes well
Arriva reported issues with bus services in Northwich this morning due to major fire at Northwich market (next to Walting St) resulting in road closures. Warrington's Own Buses also reported issues. Nothing publicised by D&G about issues with the 82 and 89.
Message on Cheshire East site about bus stops not getting updated timetables in January due to financial constraints. Guess they don't charge operators for bus stop displays like TfGM do.

TfGM's review of the 130 withdrawal:

D&G have registered an
hourly Monday to Friday
service outside of
Greater Manchester from
Macclesfield to
Handforth.

Service 42B
provides a 30
min frequency
daytime service
between East
Didsbury and
Cheadle Hulme
(Albert Road).

Service 368
provides a 15
min frequency
service along
Turves Road
and Etchells
Road.

Service 312
provides an
hourly service
along the
section of
Wilmslow Road
between
Outwood Road
and Stanley
Road (county
boundary).
It should be
noted, however,
that none of
these services
serve East
Didsbury. To
access East
Didsbury
passengers
would be
required to
change to
service 42B at
Cheadle Hulme
or Cheadle.

Service 130 is the
only Arriva service
in the local area.
As well as
operator’s own
tickets the System
One range of
travelcards is
available across
services 42B, 312 &
368.

Service 130 has
been progressively
reduced in recent
years, having been
reduced in days and
hours of operation,
frequency and the
service was recently
curtailed to no
longer serve
Manchester City
Centre.

A section of
Wilmslow Road
(Heald Green)
becomes unserved.

There are 3 pairs of
stops along this
section of route,
however 2 pairs are
within 400m of
alternative services
(312 & 368). The
area is also served
by Heald Green
Local Link.
No TfGM action
proposed at this
stage.
Thank you for your answer Knutstransport. While I knew about routes 42b & 368, it was the area further south that was less clear cut. I was prepared that a section might indeed lose a bus service now.
4163 is here, joining 4170, 4173, 4176 and 4211 as school buses, but often making it out on normal service.
4104 is also being prepared for a return to the road after over 2 and a half years off the road. It's currently at Runcorn.
As mentioned previously, all Centros will be moving into Merseyside, likely destination is Bootle. 2612 and 2615 have already left, with 2611 to follow shortly. Likely replacements at Winsford are older Cadets.

Finally Irizar Electric demonstrator YN67 VDK has been here for the past few weeks, however hasn't seen any service.
Both buses on the 1 route were Solos today. Possibly released from the 130 route?
