4099 broke down in Nantwich Bus Station this morning, presumably working the 1055 to Chester. At 1125 4012 was on the following working to Chester and 3615 crossed on the 1125 to Crewe, 1030 from Chester. Most unusual these days to see 3 Arriva double-deckers in Nantwich at the same time! When I left on the 1130 GHA 72 to Whitchurch 4099 was still there.

Untill it see's the end of it's life, it's been fitted with a Winsford/Macclesfield blind (recovered from N706 TPK) as well as Cheshire based-advertisements on the rear.
Well at least it'll be here until the disabled access compliance issues make it redundant. One of the drivers told me a few months back that all buses have gotta be low floor to comply with disabled access etc etc, not sure when this is though anybody shed some light please???

I do know that as I use them regularly. It was the sight of THREE DLAs in Nantwich Bus Station at the same time that was a first. The 84 longs crass there regularly so two is normal.

Timetable and route revised, Route WILL NOT Serve Shavington or Lieghton, It will operate as Crewe-Brookhouse only, replacing D&G 6A service. D&G will operate a 6 from Lieghton-Shavington. Route 6 from Arriva will not serve Crewe Railway Station
Route 31 (Northwich-Winsford-Crewe)
Timetable and Route revised, Route will NOT serve Morrisons in Winsford. Service 31A will operate between Winsford and Crewe only, The 31 will operate between Northwich and Crewe every 60mins.
Route 29 (Northwich-Winsford-Mount Pleasent
Timetable and Route Revised, Route WILL Serve Morrisons in Winsford ON EVERY JOURNEY. Increased service on Saturdays and will operate between Mount Pleasent and Northwich, replacing service 29B and 29A.
Route 37 (Northwich-Winsford-Sandbach/Crewe)
Timetable revised, Route 37 between Northwich and Crewe will operate between Winsford and Crewe only, Buses between Northwich And Sandbach will operate the full journey under the number of 37A.
What are Saturdays like in Northwich these days..? It it still a DD desert, with all the DD's working the #84? The last few times I've been to Northwich (admittedly these were Chester race days) there have been no DD's out on #31/31A's and #37's. From the Chester end recently the #84's seem to be solid DDs on a Saturday. Discuss...
All saturdays are DD's on the 84, Today was no exception with 4141 (Later Swapping onto the 31), 4143, 4061, 4078, 3615, 4042, 4099, 4489 and 4012 all putting in a turn!
Never seen 3615 presume it was on shorts
