It was suppose to be that the longs stay at Wythenshawe till winsford takes on enough drivers for the full service , so it should of only been the shorts that transferred but things change rapidly in the bus industry.
Shouldn't be too long now till macc have enough drivers. There's been a steady influx of new starters just lately.

Wonder whether when they've got a full compliment of drivers will it just be the new staff who work 130 longs or will it be shared with existing drivers too?
It just depends on how there rostas are set up.
If they have a common rosta where all the drivers are on one rosta and work all roads then it should slot straight onto that but if they operate individual rostas for individual routes then it will be done the same way as the other rostas.
Macc are officially working the 130 shorts as of today. Seen a couple of drivers I know on the route, from what they've said it's going alright.

That must be how one of the Sapphire 130 Branded Pulsars has ended up in Crewe this afternoon!Laugh
Knew it wouldn't be long!!!!! I thought the 130 branded buses had to stay on their route?

Gets me wondering then, if there's any issues with the pulsars then a solo or gemini decker might cover.
They've strayed off route before!
I've seen them in Altrincham sometimes in the past when they were at Wythenshawe.
They seemed to stray off route regularly when they were at Wythenshawe it was only recently that it was a daily occurance to actually see a 130 branded Sapphire virtually daily on anything other than a 130 including 247 from Trafford Centre-Altrincham
2930-33 have officially moved across and 32 is the one that's been borrowed by Winsford.
If they've strayed off route before as suggested above then we'll definitely get substitutions by solos & the 38 branded gemini deckers.

On sunday, it took a driver at least 3 attempts to get a pulsar started, not the 1st time it's happened either. Seems they're having a few issues just lately. Also if macc have anything on loan like last week when pulsar 2643 was borrowed from winsford there's always that possibility of appearing on a 130.
