I started a new thread for the proposed bus cuts in Cheshire East as it affects services operated by D&G, Howards and High Peak as well: http://dartslf.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1302
When the new chester bus station opens will the 84 use it or continue running from the train station?

I think funding springs to mind as to why it pulled out of going the bus exchange.
Chatting to a macc driver today who reckons that when macc take over the 130 fully from wythenshawe it could change again.

He's said they might consider cutting it back to east didsbury. Reason being that there's at least 4 other buses that run into picc gardens from there.

The thing is with the 130 is cutting it back to east didsbury won't that mean having to pay for 2 seperate journey tickets which passengers wont like?.

It probably would, as Arriva currently have no other buses from East Didsbury to Manchester.

People would need a System 1 or Get Me There ticket or even 2 separate tickets.
It's cheap enough on the 142 only £1.50 into town but that's not the point. Point is arriva are possibly adding extra costs onto folks journeys which won't impress considering the state of things atm.
