2499
2502
2503
2549
2551

Plus commanders have all appeared on the 88 over the past 2-3 weeks or so. Also anyone know were the new contracts awarded yet for the ex GHA services? Thought it was this month or similar when we should be finding out.

Don't keep 2499! I want her back at Winsford Laugh 2
Just had 703 on a Late 38 Run. Notice it's got a refurbed interior, with the E-Leather seating etc, have all the 'Macc' Solo SRs had this done?

Cheers
Nope 707 still retains an original interior spec. 708/709 are now both permanently winsford based as 708 has had its branding removed.

In exchange macc have the dinky toy 679 full time now. It retains an original interior with the green seating. Also macc have centros on loan on & off, guessing to cover for when solos are off the road. 2614 is here ATM.

On a plus note the geminis seem to have improved reliability wise so not giving issues. However people I've spoke to don't like the sapphire interiors as the blue makes it look quite dark & being got lately you stick to the seats.

706 has gained the 'Sapphire Spec' interior, so I guess they are going through them one by one. Saw it today on the 38, let's just say it looked cosy in there....!
Guess there's a gemini off the road probs for maintenance reasons. Usually if we've got a centro on loan that tends to provide cover being a bigger bus.

If 2614 ain't knocking about your end then it'll probably still be in macc. Though 706 was probs used as an sure 38s have to have sapphire spec buses, 707/679 are macc's only solos with original interiors.

Crewe wise 894 is still going strong but for some weird reason it's lost the rear led display.
Macc haven't had the best day today, only 1 gemini out on the 38.

2613 & 702 covering, decidedly cosy it looked too on the solo!
Copey - Been told off a ,macc driver mate of mine yesterday (6th oct) that macc are taking over the 130 from jan 2017. Along with the sapphire branded pulsars that work the 130 currently along with an influx of new drivers.

This has apparently come from the depot supervisor at macclesfield. If so then would it just be a particular set of drivers for the manchester duties or would the regular macc drivers work them too???

Word around is that come end of october when the new contracts are awarded the 87 is being withdrawn & macc are picking up the 38 full time including all the evening duties. The 82 is looking likely to be run by arriva chester rather than the current arragement.

Mod Edit - Post edited. Please refrain from speculation regarding employment situations within companies. This public forum is simply not the place for it.
Winsford & macc ain't having a good day today. Firstly 2623 failed on a 38, replaced by 2616 & spotted approx 12:00 being towed.

Secondly B7 decker 4104 failed with a fuel leak & subsequently replaced by pulsar 3159 which I'm now on to chester.
2623 as now transferred to Wythenshawe depot.
2951 ex Wythenshawe on 84 Chester this afternoon. Strange to see the old livery in this neck of the woods.
