I Beleive they want investment not a sell off , so in turn they will look to float 40% on the share market in the hope of getting investment so that DB still have control of assets and the company.
Who'd want to invest in the arriva UK bus amrket really???

It's not the best run company at the best of times. They'd have to work damm hard to attract investors.
At least two 130 buses on the 84 today - some but not all have lost Manchester from the route details.
Has 4104 been withdrawn?

It is showing on the DVLA as SORN, Has it been involved in an RTA or something?
Last week gemini availability was abismal on the 38. Only 4489 was out, the other 2 buses running crewe duties were plaxton president 4163 & solo 706.

Seems the geminis are struggling again. The sapphire interiors look very scruffy now, plus they don't seem to have been washed for weeks so on the outside are practically black with mud & dirt. Not a good way to attract passengers into using public transport.

4163 on the other hand however was spotless, clean body & the interior is still a pleasant fresh place to be. The standard interior with the blue checked moquette is so much nicer than the sapphire spec.
Interesting as means 4163 must have moved from Wythenshawe, Is 4164 still in use here?
Decker on the 1 Northwich to Weaverham again today. I wonder what the 130 route passengers will think if they knew the buses they used to get are being used on routes like the 37, buses which used to be used on routes like the 37 are appearing on the 1 and that leaves buses that used to run village services for the 130.

Why are there always problems with Winsford Geminis? Buses from the same batch were delivered to Speke and Rhyl but you never hear of similar problems.
Feck knows!

Maybe other day when I was out 4490/4491 were having some faults attended to or just on maintenance. They managed though even the solo did well, bit cosy when it's busy but wasn't an issue.
