The decision to re-introduce a very limited night bus service in the lead up to Christmas is quite bizarre considering Arriva have only recently cancelled the Wirral cross-river services. Are these three services the only ones planned or can we expect more in the next few days?

Admittedly, I have not socialised in the city centre after the last normal service since the N55 was withdrawn about three years ago but I cannot believe that there is not a demand for the likes of the N20, N55, N79, N82, N86 and N350 to be re-instated for the festive period. As for reintroducing the Wirral night bus services, that is a no-brainer.
Slightly off topic, if Arriva were to offer discounted fares for passengers in possession of Arriva weekly, monthly or annual tickets, I think these services could survive beyond the Christmas period.

Stagecoach are also doing N14 as well as N82 and N86. Information from the Merseytravel Future Bus Changes Page.
There must be some funding from some fund at Merseytravel or other outside body for these night bus services to run on the run up to Christmas .
