Cancellation Accepted: Operating between Crewe Bus Station and Chester Bus Exchange given service number C84 effective from 28-May-2016.
Wondering if the Cancellation Date for the C84 is a typo and is meant to read March rather than May.
Not sure if Routemaster made the decision the week before Easter and posted a cancellation request then it could be towards the end of last week before it arrived on at the TC's office and 8 weeks from last Saturday is 28 May.
There is no way that the TC will give an emergency cancellation as to be honest there is not enough of a valid reason for cancellation .

The TC would probably point out that they should have envisaged compititon and should have been in a financial position to continue to operate for the 8 weeks after the cancellation had been recieved.

I think one thing the TC may consider is Routemaster aren't just not running services on one route, they are also not running the majority of their registered services, with the number of C84 services probably exceeding the number of services they run on other routes.

So other routemaster services have suddenly stopped running? If so it seems strange that they have only cancelled the C84.

No what I'm saying is Routemaster's C84 route has something like 28 services per day (in both directions.) That's more services than on all their other routes put together, so the TC might see it as Routemaster aren't running over 50% of the services they should be.

Arh you mean journeys not service.
Again I guess it would fall down to the reasons why. The fact there still operating other services without issue and possibly using vehiches/drivers that would have been used ok the C84 won't bode well either.
