They have two on loan, as far as I know - MX60 BXF and MX60 BXG!
Solo M920 T412 OUB was parked on the opposite side of the road on Moss Lane in Orrell Park this afternoon on a 121 (if I remember correctly) - it seemed to be having trouble gaining air as the driver was revving it (although why it was parked on the opposite side of the road is beyond me!).
Looks like Cumfy have lost all contracts in the Fylde area. Also affects Stagecoach, Preston Bus and Classic Bus North West:
Fylde Village - Exit Cumfybus, Enter Classic Bus, Stagecoach and Preston Bus

Thats a shame... I like independent companies
Will Preston Bus give change on the 75, or is it exact fare?

Preston Bus give change on all LCC routes
Not on their 68 journeys they don't; when I was in Blackpool last month, the farebox was uncovered, and money was going into it.
The Southport Canning Road depot appears to be getting wound down.
The remaining long withdrawn DAF/Mylleniums have been both driven and towed away with the assistance of Johnsons of Banks' ERF wrecker. It has been suggested that these have passed to a new owner in the Bolton. Confirmation would be greatly received.
All remaining vehicles operated around Southport seem to be operating out of a new location shared with Fusco's Travel on nearby Russell Road trading estate.
Canning Road may be getting freed up for another influx of withdrawn stock as I would think some of the more senior Solos could be withdrawn at the beginning of next months when the 09 plates from Blackpool are freed up from that operation- only speculating though. Or it could be that Canning Road is an extravagance when only 5 or 6 buses are operated out of there.
Just seen a brand new Solo M7200SE-R on one of Cumfy's C routes.
(YD63 VBX) the reg.
Wonder if there are anymore?
Cumfy is this months "Fleet in focus ' in the latest Buses magazine. Andrew Jarosz pointed out there are some more due for delivery any time now
