If it helps I've heard the same rumour from a friend of mine earlier this week but didn't want to post anything until I heard something more concrete
Surprising it has taken this long for Cumfy to have a foray into TfGM territory.
2 more arriva drivers just told me the same roumor, seems to of spread massively around Bolton depot
Looks like the roumor was true! Thanks for posting
Hybrid Solo YJ12 GXB was on the 830 this evening! I've never seen one of those on that service (however I don't see the service on a daily basis).
My boss who lives on the wirral reported to me yesterday that a cumfybus had gone on fire at the weekend resulting in the attendance of the fire brigade anyone know anymore on this and which bus was involved?
Documents for the TfGM Committee meeting on Friday has Cumfybus listed as operators for the 553 and 559, taking over from 8 July. 553 and 559 will be curtailed to former routes with 553 running to Boothstown and 559 to Hindley only.

Not often you see independents expand into other towns and cities, hopefully Cumfybus are more stable than Maytree was. Are Cumfybus known to start commercial routes? Maybe some opportunities in Bolton.

They're more known for the commercialization of profitable contract services
The only commercial services operated are as follows:
15: Marshside to Birkdale (PVR 1)
57C: Netherton to Bootle
58C: Bootle to Netherton
144: Bootle Circular
145: Bootle Circular (PVR 3 - Combines with the 57C/58C/145)
139: Liverpool to St Helens/Prescot (PVR 7)
193: Huyton to Halewood (PVR 2)
