Because the profits from the successful parts of the 139 will level out the less-profitable parts.
good point

This is because this duty comes off the 152 service in St Helens and it is based at Kirkby depot not Aintree where the rest of the Hybrids are based......
So is a single Hybrid based at Kirkby for permanent allocation to the 152? It seems to be more split on the 152 than when the Hybrids first arrived is all with the allocation alternating between 59 plate Solos and the 12 plate Hybrids.
There is at least 1 based at Kirkby as I seen one, possibly GXE, going along Moorgate Road away from their depot about 8am on Sunday, and I can't see any other reason why it would be up that way that early.
Cumfybus are moving to one central depot later in the year, to be based in Aintree, with the Kirkby, Southport & Wirral outstations all closing.
I wonder whether they intend to re-bid for service such as the 152 in St Helens when they're up this year then....
If they are moving to Aintree, I bet they are pretty gutted they've lost the 130/210/241/250 contracts.
i think they must be moving to old cmt depot by tasker it the only place i could think of in aintree or by peoplebus is another site
It is somewhere near Taskers (rather than Peoplesbus) but I'm not sure if it's the old depot there. There are a few things along Long Lane which are empty now.
