Enviro200 MX60 BWZ was on the 193 today! I saw it at Belle Vale and it wasn't until I noticed the registration I realised it wasn't either an HTL or Eazibus one!
it was on it yesterday as well Steve. Looks like if they get them the 152 and 193 are gonna be the main routes for them
Cumfybus lose route 152 to HTL Buses in two weeks though so if 10 are due perhaps 193 and 139?

The other bus on the 193 was and X reg Solo, X172 NWR I think!
The 139 could definitely do with bigger buses than Solos, last time I rode it in April on one of the Tridents the loadings would fill a Pulsar let alone a Solo.
Walked past aintree atherton rd depot last night and noticed ex supertravel optare solo YN53ZWJ parked outside in the yard still in full supertravel livery complete with supertravel logos wonder if cumfy have bought this from an auction or something?
Its been in storage at Kirkby for some times so they must be either stripping it or refurbing it to put in service
A Hybrid Solo have been on the 139 at least twice this week, usually only occurs on a Saturday.
Ex Ace MX60 BWY was on the 193 today, does anyone know is this and the 62 plate one are owned by Cumfy or just on demo?

Being pre-owned and on a 60 plate, I wouldn't have thought the ex-Ace example would be a demo but someone else may know otherwise.

A couple of days late but I had a ride on YX62 EEY on the 152 on Wednesday and I can't say that, for such a new vehicle, I particularly thought much of it. The interior was nice enough and certainly preferable to that of some older examples as it has Esteban seating and the Centro styling but the excessive use of shiny plastic just looks tacky to me and the entire archway coving being black plastic also looked poor. Build quality was nothing to rave about either with a lot of rattling over smoother roads as well as the poor roads through Crank where it was particularly bad. The engine felt rather weak too and that was noticeable after there was a driver swap half way into St Helens too. Certainly compared to the likes of the Arriva St Helens 12 plate Solo SRs which I've ridden on the evening 356 which follows the same route through Crank as the 152, it was a poor ride and for a vehicle on a 62 plate, was especially shocking.
Credit to Andy Rigby, Cumfybus have shockingly sold the newer Solos to:

YJ59 PKA/C/D/E to Central Buses, Birmingham.
YJ59 PKK/N/V to West Midlands Special Needs Transport (Ring n Ride),
