Thanks again Kuyoyo. I was planning to come up after Easter when the schools were off as I thought that might be the best bet for Olympians as maybe the Tridents will be getting prepared for when the schools return. That might be risky now so I hope to get up to Stockton sooner.

Now I'm very much liking that!!

Bear in mind also that the Olympians are now 16 years old....

I totally agree with you, but except from the low floor advantage the tridents have, when you think of it... It's not a massive improvement. I understand that they are for mainly school services but i can see a few working on the 36 when an unreliable Enviro300 breaks down, so bringing in buses that used to work in Manchester and Hull i can't imagine the buses being a comfy ride - i wasn't expecting brand spanking new buses because we are in teesside the 'cascade county of the north' as i like to call it.

I wouldn't leave it that late if I was you - the first Tridents will likely be in use by then.
I have had reports that Euro6 Alexander Dennis Enviro400 10000 (MX12 EOC) has arrived at Walkergate depot.
when are the first tridents coming to stagecoach on teesside and when are the volvo olympians going to be withdrawn

When Hull get their Enviro400s from Manchester and get them into service. As for when the Olympians are being retired from service, who knows but I can see a small number staying until the Tridents bed in.
Just read that they might been taken the 610/611 off in July on a sunday and will there be put another bus on that route on sunday.
