Shame. ALX300s have always been favourites of mine, even if I haven't rode that many.

When do you estimate the last will be phased out, Tony? End of the year? Smile
The excellent SOES (Sheffield Omnibus Enthusiasts Society) has a photo of Busways 19672 working Supertram replacement services in Sheffield.

A total of 17 Enviro deckers from around the country have been drafted in. Only one from up here!
New vehicles for Stagecoach North East:

17 Enviro300s for Stockton (services 35/52/58/59/61)
19 Enviro200 for South Shields (Euro5 examples)
Not sure if it is a transfer or just a loan, but Transit's 20550 was working driver training duties for Walkergate on Monday 20th at least.

Also, North East Gen has reported fleetnumbers for the new buses due this year -

27238-54 are the Enviro 300s for Stockton
37301-19 are the Enviro 200s for South Shields
Following a terminal failure 2 weeks ago (in which the driveshaft split in 2), MAN 22733 (T733 OEF) has been withdrawn from Stockton's reserve fleet into disposal. In its place, 22466 (T466 BNL) is being reactivated.
I am considering coming to Newcastle & Sunderland one Bank Holiday, either in August or maybe Monday 28th December. I am therefore wondering whether Stagecoach currently run the gas buses in Sunderland on Sundays and Bank Holidays? Confirmation either way will be much appreciated, thanks!
Ex-Aborath Enviro400s 19642-7 have now arrived in the North East. They will be deployed from South Shields depot on the X34 (Newcastle-Horsley Hill) replacing native 19194/6/7 back to Newcastle (depot to be confirmed). Initially only 3 will be used pending a possible frequency increase at a later date.
