Either that or I'm sure there's still OEM parts being made for the B10 line - how else do they continue in frontline service?

I think the other thing that would be needed from 21035 would be seats as well - particularly given it looks like it retains Cleveland Transit trim rather than Stagecoach's 1990s or 2000s.
The preservation attempt for 21037 has only just began and as yet, although we have a price, we're waiting until we've raised the funds and know what condition it's in mechanically.
Seats are just seats though - talk nicely to a scrappy and they'll put them aside for you - the vehicle doesn't have to be saved just for seats.

If worst comes to worst I'm sure you'd be able to find new moquette somewhere.
So, my rides on Stagecoach North East buses were as follows:

Enviro 400 Hybrid 12075 (route 40)
Volvo B10BLE-Prestige 21105 (E1)
Volvo B10BLE-ALX300 21136 (E6)
MAN-ALX300 22344 (18)
Enviro300 27510 (100)
Dart-ALX200 33102 (4)
MAN-Enviro200 39661 (7)
MAN-Enviro200 39716 (6)

Having seen a few Enviro 400s from Newcastle in Manchester, it seemed barmy that Stagecoach had sent some buses to Newcastle from Sheffield as replacements! I did not stop long enough in South Shields to see any Enviro300s there. I did see 21101 in Newcastle routebound to route X63 (which you had already suggested as a haunt for these vehicles Kuyoyo).

Engineering knowledge. Whilst Newcastle don't generally operate Scanias, they are half familliar with the type.

Manchester don't have any and haven't worked on Scanias for several years (their pair of Mylleniums aside as they're older models).

Add to that the increased pressure on Manchester's fitters due to a larger fleet and extra footie services and you begin to see why the moves happened.
Before you ask why Newcastle's didn't simply go straight to London - they have contravision advertising for Stagecoach tickets so are ineligible for LOCOG work.

Newcastle don't today operate Scanias but did upto 2005 with the Alexander PS-bodied L113CRL and Alexander RH-bodied N113DRB. So indeed have past experience of the older type.

As for the contravision adverts, those were removed from those that have gone to London and indeed off several that remain in Newcastle.
Can any members please give me a list of P/R reg B10BLE's in service currently?

Thanks Big Grin

Thank you very much!
If you want to know the allocation, 2 of Stockton's are booked to operate the 35 (Stockton - Billingham Wolviston Court & High Grange Estates) while the 3rd has primarily been operating the 12 (Middlesbrough - Coulby Newham Parkway Centre) over the last week on the working that does the 565 and 34 on a morning, apart from its appearance on the 38 on Thursday (though, depending whether it was removed before the end of the 38, it will have worked onto the 12/610/611 on the evening).
I saw 21101 in Newcastle on Monday, clearly routebound to route X63. I rode an ALX300 and a Prestige on South Shields routes on Friday 27th July. I forget which ones but I looked up my notes to divilge their identities in a post yesterday.
