Nice to see plenty of Volvo Olympians out today! One was even found on service 36, quality! 16836 saw service on the 13 before moving on to operate service 308.
Trident 17025 appeared on one of the two 'Macmillan' 58 workings this morning.

22668 is out on the 37 tonight.
Jesmond's 1481 worked the 1345 service 685 from Newcastle today.
Sorry, meant for Arriva thread!

Can someone please explain why we have this endless tirade of info re vehicles used within teeside?

If it is this important why not start a separate forum. We guys in the tyne and wear area don't hog the space with constant details of what vehicles work services in Sunderland and Newcastle.

It is tending to be a teensy bit boring now and I am trying to be civil in this comment.

This is the Stagecoach North East thread, so if you have anything about Tyne and Wear post it. If you actually notice, the main reported stuff is mainly noting where the Olympians and Tridents appear, very rarely do I mention the day-to-day allocation. (Plus it's not like there's much of any noticeable unusual workings with the Busways side of the operation).

Yes thank you for that explanation but as the Tridents are permanent fixtures does that not mean these are now usual workings and not unusual workings?

You must admit every day there is an entry relating to this and as for mcmillan workings are these not going to be the norm also?

At present, deckers are only for the Macmillans and those two extra 36 workings. Although one regularly appears on the late starting 52 board (and that's mainly because they've already been defect checked so quicker to send one straight back out), the Olympians aren't supposed to be used on normal service. Once the rest of the Tridents arrive, given they are actually Low Floor, these reports will probably become less frequent unless something very much out of the ordinary happens (like one appearing on the 37).
Thanks for the clear reply.

That's all it took just someone to explain.
