Olympians 16831/6/8 spent the majority of the day on the 52/58, at school time 21104 replaced 16836 and 22193 replaced 16831 (16836 had replaced 22193 earlier in the day). 16839 covered a 36 from Stockton about 10 to 1.
36-branded MAN 24101 was used to cover a 52 this afternoon.
16839 was on a 36 from Middlesbrough
The latest Enviro300 repainted into the new 100 base livery is 27507. 27508 is currently in the paintshop, leaving 27509 as the last example with the old 100 livery.
Having both started the day on the 36, MAN Enviro300 24108 & 24114 are both on the 52/58 one behind the other. Indeed, 24108 appears to be on one of the two all night 52 duties.
Remarkable, for the first time this year, all 10 Olympains were in use today:
16831/2/3 were on the 52/58
16834/5/6 were used on Sunderland AFC Park & Ride
16837/9/40 were on work in Middlesbrough
16838 was on the 13
I know this may be stretching the scope of the group a bit but it WAS Stagecoach and it WAS in the North East ...
Stagecoach in Portsmouth liveried ALX400 Trident 18191 (MX54 LPY) departed Newcastle Central station this evening at 1806 on a Megabus service.
I have to give this 9.5 out of 10 for earth-shatteringness.
Was working an M35 to Rugby having arrived with the M34 from Portsmouth.

No entirely uncommon, at one stage wasn't strange to see a Manchester Enviro400 on Megabus workings, plus Walkergate's 19379/80 are both fitte with tachographs and have been used on the M12 to London in the past.
It's very rare these days to see a service bus used on Megabus workings. The general trend is to use hired in coaches. This is why the Sunday extra M12 is now hired in rather than Enviro400 worked.
