Another Dart SLF to return to service at Slatyford is

From VOSA earlier in the week:
PB0001987/239 - CLEVELAND TRANSIT LTD T/A STAGECOACH NORTHEAST, ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, NORTH BRIDGE STREET, SUNDERLAND, SR5 1AQ
Variation Accepted: Operating between Hemlington Shops and Salters Lane given service number 13/13A effective from 24-Sep-2012. To amend Route and Timetable.
Ignore the 'amend route' part, I understand the only change from this date is the withdrawal of the 1812 from Hemlington to Middlesbrough and the retiming of the last run from Hemlington to Salters Lane by 2 minutes from Middlesbrough to Salters Lane (from 2nd September, that 13 leaves Middlesbrough at 1741 meaning it has to depart from Stand 15 rather than Stand 20 owing to a clash with the 1 to Hartlepool at 1744, from the 24th it changes to leave at 1739, currently leaves at 1735).
Reported Odd Workings from Yesterday:
Olympian 16836 appeared on the 36 along with the now-normal MAN ALX300s, serveal MAN Enviro300s broke down appearing on other routes later in the day
B10BLE 21150 broke from its regular working on the 12 (starts on the 565, then does the second 34 to Middlesbrough before ending up on 12s) to appear on the 38, indeed was on one of the 2 all day 38 workings that go onto 12/610/611 after 1820
Not yet mentioned is the sale of Volvo B10B/Plaxton Verde Trainer
21035 (L35 HHN) to Cleveland Police for use at their Tactical Training Unit at Urlay Nook alongisde a former Arriva North East Vecta.

Which makes its actual destination ever the more odd. As iirc 21040/2 were listed as 'Sold to Tyne & Wear Fire Service' and 'Sold to Tyne and Wear NHS' not scrap. Mind, it means that all the final 4 Verdes are still around and hopefully will be for a while longer.
It's probably just the way Transit note things. And lets be honest, the police will be destroying it anyway.......

Not entirely sure the Police will be destroying it, one of the two Arriva Vectas that the Police had has managed to survive into preservation, I can only hope 21035 survives a while longer, primarily as there is now an attempt underway to preserve 21037 (21035 would be a good source of spare parts and seats).
As would any other withdrawn B10M/B10B/B10BLE as they all share a lot of common components.
Either that or I'm sure there's still OEM parts being made for the B10 line - how else do they continue in frontline service?
