The Stockton B10BLEs are all over the place today:
21143/50 on 12/14/34
21104 on 52/58
Olympian 16834 replaced 22466 on the 38. It's on one of the two 38s that works onto 12/610/611. So, unless it's been replaced, it will currently going around Lingfield Park on the first 611.
Olympian 16840 spent the day on the 35 (whether it was taken off for schools, not sure)
B10BLE 21144 is reported to have broken down on Cambridge Road in Middlesbrough today. 21143 was on the normal 35. Where 21104/50 were today is unknown.
B10BLE 21149 is now parked in Stockton Depot.

(22/09/2012 21:12)kuyoyo Wrote: [ -> ]The closure of these stops is to do with the work on the High Street. From Monday, work starts on moving the bus stops from outside the Post Office to further over with the taxi rank moving in the other direction. The stops outside the Post Office are not affected for now, but as such the following changes are being made (more details will be included once the map and other stuff are on-line):
All services will use one of the 4 temporary stops being installed in the lay-by currently home to Stands 6-8. Stand 9 will also be used. Due to Stand 1 being closed, vehicles at the end of the day laying over will use the lay-by over the road outside the Shambles Market Hall, or alternatively the 'Coach' loading lay-by just after the High Street/Yarm Road/Bridge Road traffic lights.

No map included though.
Don't forget - if you're in the Stockton area (or planning a visit to Teesside in the next 40 weeks), don't forget that today is the start of Phase 1 of Stockton High Street South Regeneration. And, as such, stand allocations have been changed
Full details here
Thank you for warning us that these revised stands apply for the next 40 weeks. I know to brace myself in case I come to Teesside next Easter. Admittedly this idea is losing momentum as I am not sure about rail engineering works, and the early Easter means it will not stay light for the extra hour on the Saturday. The August Bank Holiday weekend 2013 could be more likely.

These stands won't be in effect for the whole 40 weeks. The work on the South End of Stockton High Street will take 40 weeks, which will involve (in terms effect on Buses):
*The switching of the stands outside the Post Office to where the Taxi Rank currently is, with the Taxi Rank moving to outside the Post Office (stand number here will increase from 3 to 4)
*The stands outside Iceland/Stagecoach Travel Office are being moved closer to the shops, widening the road
*A turning loop at the bottom end, enabling quicker turn-around on services 52/58 (and possiably Arriva service 6 as well)
Also currently on-going is the work on St John's Crossing, which is due to be completed in December 2013. Almost all of that affects the bus services (Stagecoach 36/7/8 the main ones effected).
South Shields' MAN ALX300 22022/49/50 are now all fitted with LED removed from B10BLEs. 21149 appears to be one example, that now has a flipdot rear display.
For anyone after the City Sightseeing Leyland Olympians, just a reminder that from 3 weeks today, the service drops to hourly from half hourly using just the one example until the 15th December. The service is then suspended until the 24th March next year, however the question is, will the Leylands be running it next year?
