So there's every chance, given there's not enough Dart SLFs left in reserve to replace all of them (assuming all 19 go to London) then it could be seen that the MAN Enviro300s at Slatyford could now enable some of thier MAN Enviro200s to move to South Shields to cover for the Enviro200s going to London.
(Offically, 33101/2 33484/6-8/91/2 and 33829 are the reserve Dart SLFs, and 33101/484/829 are in service at Sunderland, 33102/486/488 are at Hartlepool, 33491 is in service at South Shields as possiably is 33492).

Of course they are! So thats another one for me to get pics of! When will this be happening?

Any time soon - 36464/5/74 are already in London. The others should be going down very soon (the drivers from the North East for the Paralympics head down from this weekend). All a case of waiting and watching.

Aright - Thanks a lot for all the info - A very busy couple of months for me!

Well, for Stagecoach, yes - But I mean with all companies!

But, considering this is the Stagecoach thread, just a busy month of interesting-ness left before everything goes back to normal.
It will be the end of September before things are back to normal, and October at least before things are properly settled down with disposals etc. So months is a fair assessment.
Well whatever's happening an pretty sure 21001 won't last very long on the x63 so it will probably go back to being all B10BLE run

21101 is a B10BLE!
(14/08/2012 21:09)kuyoyo Wrote: [ -> ]21001? That was withdrawn years ago. If you mean 21101, no was still in service on Saturday and will probably remain for a while given Walkergate only currently offically has 8 MAN ALX300 to cover both the 18 and X63 without any full-size spares (has 2 Spare Dart SLFs but they are supposed to be spare for the 15/15A).

FYI, the allocation of vehicles on service 22 is usually 10 Enviro400s and 3 MANs/B10BLEs and has been ever since 60 reg Enviro400s arrived in early 2011. So it's probably safe to say there aren't enough Enviro400s either. So unless Walkergate gain an extra 3 Enviro400s from somewhere, gain more single decks from somewhere or use more 'spares' in daily service, then it's not beyond the realms of possibility that some Walkergate B10BLEs receive a stay of execution for somewhat longer than the end of September.
Well on paper at least - assuming they managed before, and vehicles can be replaced on a 1 for 1 basis - enough Enviro300s and Enviro400s went into NE in 2011 to see off all B10Ms (already happened), B10BLEs and a MAN.
On paper yes, but in practice it has just not happened like that. As I say, the Olympics have had nothing to do with the fact that 3 single decks are used everyday on service 22 given it has been this way since early 2011. This leaves a shortfall of 3 for single deck routes 18 and X63 (more if not all MANs re in action). In other words, they have never managed (one possible reason is the lack of any spare E400Hs - there are generally at least 2 sat in the depot most days either being maintained or 'broken'). So one wonders what could change to this longstanding practice for all B10BLEs to be withdrawn when they are supposed to be...
