No. 16707 was only in use here earlier this year covering while our own Olympians (16831-40) were undergoing chassis work. It did remain in service for a short while afterwards but was withdrawn due to its gearbox being knackered. All 4 (16704/5/7/30) currently reside in Flowers (Stockton depot's storage shed, also home to the 500 Group's vehicles.
You seem more interested in Stagecoach in Teesside for older rather than modern stock W179. I guess the modern stock replicates stock on Tyneside so older stock makes an interesting change.

Although I was superficially saddened to miss out on riding an Enviro300 in South Shields in July, I was pleased to ride Volvo B10BLEs as ALX300s are rare and Prestiges are, I believe, for Stagecoach unique in the North East!

Given we're the depot with the oldest stock for normal service work (R-reg Olympians, an allocated P-reg B10BLE), it's natural to be more interested in them rather than the Enviro300s here (unless you like a laugh at their names, 24112 Mr Snuggle Wuggle for example).

Yes, 21101-5 are the only Prestiges not only with Stagecoach now (26127, the DAF aquirred with Bullocks, was sold off by Sheffield last year when their E400Hs arrived). Not only that, they are also the only Prestiges on the B10BLE chassis (all the others are on DAFs chassis as far as I'm aware).
Yesterday

21144 replaced 22020 on 38s (1829 finish in Middlesbrough off short 37 from Park End). 16837 replaced 22015 on 38s at 1710 in Middlesbrough on one of the two all day working (should have donr the 1820 611 but at 1740, due time from the Glebe to Middlesbrough was still in Stockton)

16833 went onto 36s at about 1248 from Stockton, not sure if that remained on or not.

21144 on the 38 - a change in duties means that this will have also done the Stockton Staff Bus from 1840 til 2035 (previously the Staff Bus used to run off an 11)

16833 on the 36
21104 spent the day on the 36 today

How long have the B10BLE's and Olympians got left @ Teesside?

Olympians - As long as the current Macmillan Contracts run (were renewed in September 2009, although not entirely sure how long for)
B10BLEs - Absolutely no idea, I'd say not that long

Cheers Smile - I am going to have to make a visit to Teesside then, as I already have loads of picture of the strider's and Olympians I intended to photo.
Enviro300s 27724/8/37 has arrived back from London. Both 27724/8 were in South Shields depot today along with Enviro200 36462. 27724 and 36462 were being checked by an Alexander Dennis fitter. Enviro200 36464/5 were back in service today, 36464 on the normally MAN Enviro200-worked 10/11/30.

In addition to 21105, 21148 has now also been stood down as it was parked in the same spot today as it has been for the last two or so week I've been heading up there.
