they weren't bought, they were cascaded, there are no other spares in Hull and it would be pointless in the fact that they only have a few more years in service and in essence your replacing 4 y/o buses with 15 y/o buses.

Stockton was due, to receive ten Tridents, from Hull to replace the ten Olympains.
I believe the reason, for Stockton only receiving four Tridents so far, is because Hull, have not yet received the replacements for these Tridents!
As soon as Hull receive they replacements, then Stockton should receive the remaining six Tridents, which will then allow the withdrawal of the remaining six Olympains!

I think you've missed the whole thread here, her question (repeatedly!) is regarding deckers for the 36 (which, I admit, does require them).
As for the Tridents, as Hull have received 6 of the ex-Manchester Enviro400s (and a 7th is due to arrive tomorrow), in theory Stockton should have by now received 6 Tridents with a 7th due shortly, however we are still waiting for the 5th example to arrive.

I assumed she meant more than the ten we are receiving (eventually).
All I meant was they should bay a few more dennis tridents for 36 route that all because it good to see them on there route.
Today:
Olympian 16834 was on the 52 before being replaced by 22201
Enviro300 24108 was on the 52/58 this afternoon
Trident 17032 replaced 22195 on the 13 (presumably replaced once again)
Trident 17026/7 were the extra 36, 17027 later went onto the 35
36-branded Enviro300 24102 was on the 35 today while a further example (believed to be 24104) was on the 13.
Trident 17032 made an unusual appearance on a normal 36 working today, while sister 17026 and 16831 were the extra workings and 17027 worked the ASDA free bus. 16836 was on the 52 alongside B10BLE 21150 although both were replaced by school time, along with 21141 off the 35.
An unusual Sunday working saw 22012 replace 24113 on the 37 at James Cook Hospital (after 22197 had replaced 22012 on the 12/610/611) before 22062 replaced 22012.
B10BLE 21104 spent the day on 58s today, and unless replaced this evening, it will still be out on 52s tonight.
