Just read that Gus Poyet has been suspended by Brighton, apparently over his comments about his future. Maybe there is something in the Everton link after all?
Rafa Benitez is the new Napoli manager and best of luck to him. I like Napoli, a side that did well in the Champions League a couple of seasons back and were unlucky to lose to Chelsea on aggregate. Here's hoping they progress under him unlike the Inter Milan debacle. Inter are still in the doldrums to this day as we saw in the Europa League when they lost to Spurs. The Inter of old would never have lost like that in a month of Sundays.

In an ideal world, I'd like to have seen Rafa given a second bite of the cherry at Liverpool, but in all fairness, Brendan probably just about merits another season. We have to improve markedly mind, and a top four finish is essential for me if he wants to keep his job.
Its highly likely that Roberto Martinez will become the next Manager of Everton .

So the manager merry go round because of Sir Alex Ferguson retiring continues .
Anyone seen the "updated" Everton badge?

Why can't they just leave well alone?
Im not sure why people are so upset about the change of the Everton badge it is just an update .

It now seems highly likely that sometime this summer Luis Suarez is going to leave Liverpool , do you think it is good riddance for all the misdeameanours he has done and cash in now .

An update to gouge more cash from supporters?

And after All the support Suarez has had from the manager and supporters this season, his announcement 5,000 miles away that he wants out is a kick in the teeth. Not surprised though.
Lets see how much money Liverpool can get for him .

Once Liverpool have managed to get some money for him , who will be there next target.
We've learnt from the Torres/Carroll saga, if Suarez goes we'll target a number of players to replace him to improve the squad as a whole. Negotiating the right place for two or three players, like we did with Sturridge and Coutinho. If he goes he goes, if he stays he stays.

Trouble is if they get anything like the telephone numbers being quoted in the press for Suarez, the price of any replacement(s) will inevitably rise.

Is Carroll still due to return next season, or has he now formally joined west Ham?
Well this is my point, we got the prices down for both Sturridge and Coutinho so obviously we've learnt from mistakes in summer 2011 and will negotiate the right price.

It's gone quiet on Carroll lately, last I heard was West Ham agreed a deal to sign him but then he got injured and was himself waiting to see if Newcastle was interested.
