An incredible comeback and one of those famous European nights at Anfield after a long wait. Outstanding show from all concerned and a real significant scalp over a strong team. It won't be easy against Villarreal but if any English side can do it, Liverpool can.
One of the best games if not the best game I've ever been to, incredible.
Liverpool player Sakho has failed a drugs test , the drugs test was taken on March 17th .

Highly likely if it is upheld he will have to serve a 6 month ban at least.
Leicester City champions without having to touch a football last night .

Odds were 5000-1 for the to finish top at the start of the season
Might see if I can get Red Rum to win next years Grand National
There has really only been one title that came very unexpectedly that was Aston Villa in 1980-1 season , other than maybe moneyed Blackburn , the title has gone to the usual suspects.
A truly astonishing achievement from Leicester City and to have witnessed the fairytale unfolding has been fantastic. One stat from last night that really stood out: Man Utd have spent more in two seasons than Leicester have in their entire history. Just shows that sometimes football wins out against the clubs ran by 'buy the league title' billionaires.

Certainly the greatest British sporting shock of my lifetime, and I dare say one of the best ever.
Liverpool are in the Europa League final after beating Villareal 3-0 in the second leg (3-1 on aggregate) of the semi final

Liverpool will be joined by Sevilla in the final on the 18th of May
It could now be a Tees - Tyne derby next year .

Middlesborough got promoted today and Newcastle seem to be in the box seat at the moment in the relegation battle .
