Michael Meacher MP for Oldham West and Royton has died today at the age of 75.

He had a majority of 14,738 at the 2015 General Election.
American actor Al Molinaro, who starred as "Big Al" Delvecchio in sitcom Happy Days, has died at the age of 96. He died following complications from a gallstone infection.
Sad news reported today is that former Premier League goalkeeper Marton Fulop has died aged 32

On a terrible weekend for deaths , we have another well known celebrity passing away .

Actor Warren Mitchell, who played Alf Garnett in television series Till Death Us Do Part, has died aged 89.
Further sad news reported is that New Zealand rugby union player Jonah Lomu has passed away at the age of 40

That really did come as a very big shock , didn't really know he was not well when he was in his pomp as well.

They had actually been saying that if he had been fully fit when playing for the All-Blacks how great would actually have been , probably beyond superlatives.

RIP Jonah .

Motorhead front man Lemmy died on December 28 aged 70

The Specials drummer John Bradbury has died aged 62

Its not been a good few days for the music industry.

Not a cheery first post of the year to report another celeb death. But singer Natalie Cole died on New Year's Eve, aged 65.
