How come thats affecting the Wigan stoppers?
Because for a while the power was off in the Wigan station area hence a service terminated at Bryn and St Helens Central

They do a blanket isolation to start off with and then slowly restore power bit by bit until they find the area that is causing the problems

Well in this case the power was affected over a wider area than might normally have been expected but that's not always the case
Things seem to be ok again now thankfully

Yes full repairs at the weekend
Services that previously terminated at Appleby from Leeds will now continue on to Armathwaite , this alteration has been in place since 27th June.
The service between Appleby and Armathwaite and vice versa will operate on the Carlisle bound line only .

Been discussed on another forum. It has that tune programmed in to prove the CIS is working before any routes have been programmed in but like everything else on the 319s the CIS are faulty (or the rail staff have been playing with them) so they are playing out that tune instead of making announcements.
