They will in a few years time be able to do through Liverpool - Windermere Electrics - some of the work for the Windermere branch is taking place this weekend.

Northern or its previous successor FNW did have an afternoon service to Barrow.
In the early 200x there were M-F services to both Barrow and Morecambe but were stopped in favour of an hourly service to Blackpool.
A service to Windermere operated from Liverpoo Exchange until the 1960s.

Except of course 370 is not yet with us. Nice NSE livery though.
A diesel is on the Wigan line today. Just passed me going out of Lime St.
Fun and games again with the 319s today,319377 had power problems on the 0702 Manchester Vic-Lime St and terminated at Earlestown to be pushed in by the 319 behind it then a few hours later 319366 failed at Broad Green on the 1021 Lime St-Manchester Vic with door problems and then after that 319361 failed at Whiston with door problems on the 1047 Lime St-Warrington BQ
Arriva need to do something as this is getting beyond the joke now
So with 3 going down at more or less the same time, is there any cancelled diagrams or diesel deputisations.
I wonder if the Class 319s would benefit from a Renatus style refurbishment? Seeing as the 319s and Class 321s are virtually identical I'd have thought it would be possible

Round trip to Warrington BQ cancelled so far,319386 has come off Allerton depot to replace one of the failures and 319361 might yet become fixed
