It was. Its original registration was CX56 EKD but it was changed to its current registration before entering service

Ah right, interesting. Was that just to fit in with the other Pulsars and Cadets or wqs it for some other reason?

I'd say the reason why it was changed was because it was delivered so close to the "07" registrations being available Arriva chose to wait until March so it could receive an "07" registration instead - that way a new bus didn't look "old" so to speak. Although on saying that I don't think many people pay much attention to the registration number of a bus
Another example of this is Southport's first batch of Pulsars (3033-3046) were booked "59" registrations but before entering service they received "10" registrations instead

2620 was exhibited at Euro Bus Expo 2006 at the NEC Birmingham. So 2620 is 10 years old this year - doesn't time fly

Suprised how 10 years have flown by
is that the one that had been described as bus of the future with out opening doors and coach mirrors.
It was LF02PVA that was painted similar to 2800 when it first arrived at St Helens if I remember correctly and then in 2006 2620 was also painted with extra black on the sides.
