4549 has returned from being painted, with 4539 the next one to receive the treatment.
2514 has also been painted in-house into the new livery
2496 is now the last Cadet to be repainted in Rhyl.

She is going to go in standard livery as Rhyl depot is going to paint her.
Little bit of old news, Winsford/Macclesfield based VDL Gemini 4489 MX61 AUN is now parked in Rhyl depot due to having a ramp replacement. I hear rummors saying that it's sisters 90 and 91 are due to come here sooner.
Does anyone know why Rhyl get MX61 AUO + AUN when it is CX15 BXO thats gone to Winsford.

The obvious answer might be 'type standardisation', maybe it'll eventually be a one for one swap. Winsford has a very mixed bag of deckers for a very small requirement (less than 10 even if you include Macclesfield) , namely DB250 President, B7 ALX400, Enviro400 & DB250 Gemini. Perhaps replacing the Geminis' with more Enviro400s will help with maintenance. As it seems that none of the ALX400s are returning after repaint it would make sense to only have 2 types, the Presidents for schools & the Enviros for 38s & 84s.
4402 and 4404 have now been moved to Winsford depot. There both entered service on the 84s.

In other news 4403 is also due to go to Winsford but it's still awaiting for a new engine.
