Yeah it was 3998 which had been painted into the old open top livery before being used for giant crew transport. It's expected to be out and about all weekend for those interested.

Or this one taken by Richard Cadman
It's actually on William Brown Street at the moment, so if you fancy getting trapped in a crowd of at least 2000 people beneath the burning July sun (just to look at an iconic decker), then now's your chance!
Looks pretty good in the old-style livery, 3122 -sorry, that's a Bootle Pulsar now isn't it?- ArrBW 3998 (C212 GTU) has lost some weight since losing its roof, now weighs a little over ten tonnes (UW marking of 10,030kg) meaning it weighs just a tonne more than a single deck 44-seat Pulsar! VERY lightweight for a decker.
Incidentally, a nearby food stall is selling cups of tea for £1.90 and cans of Coke for two quid AND THIRSTY, SWEATING PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY BUYING THEM!
Where there's a puppet, there's a muppet....
Cans if coke for £2, ouch, I certainly wouldn't be paying that even to look at a nice bus.
Pulsar 2654 was on the 1.20 Holywell to Chester Coastliner this afternoon

I thought this bus was withdrawn at the end of the season last year.
