The DLPs are not just confined to 263s though as last week I managed to get one on 18 from Trafford Centre and infront of us there was another DLP on 19.

Incidently not sure how true this is as I haven't been down to the Depot for a while but apparently according to a driver friend of mine the first Sapphire bus is back at Wythenshawe and the first route to be getting the Saphire buses will be the 130 with the 263 following afterwards

Do we know what vehicles are getting the Sapphire treatment? Pulsars and/or Enviro300's?

Cheers
Thanks for the DLP info lads

Arriva had a launch for the service in Macclesfield yesterday. Also mentioned in the comments section of the Facebook post is that the 263 will be upgraded to Sapphire from January 2016.

Does anyone from Arriva monitor their services?
Since the beginning of September services 18 & 19 have been adjusted so as between Sale and Manchester Airport there is a daytime frequency (Monday to Saturday) of 15 minutes. However I have noticed some services running 'close together' so today I checked this out in Sale Moor between 11;00 & 11;30.
Heading towards Mcr Airport there was a gap of only 5 minutes between the 18 & 19 whilst in the other direction there was a gap of only 2 minutes!
This in late morning when traffic should be light.
If anyone from Arriva reads this I would be interested in their response.
