What will the 09 Pulsars from Runcorn be replacing when they return? Wasn't there something said last year when the 61s arrived that Pulsars couldn't go on the routes that the ALX200s go on due to some sort of size restriction, therefore they can't replace them? Could they be for Manchester routes?
The only route you won't see Pulsars on is 247 due to some problem on the route between Partington and Sinderland, the problem didn't just relate to Arriva as I remember when Stagecoach Manchester used to run School Services along the route and these had to be allocated MANs or B10Ms as deckers are banned from the route for the same reason (nothing to do with Barton Bridge though as Stagecoach journeys only ran as far as Davyhulme roundabout)
Marshal Dart 7632 is having a good run out today as its operating 10:30 130 Manchester-Macclesfield service

All Monday-Saturday journeys will run along the extension but Sunday journeys by JPT will not.

Seems that the MediaCity extension to the 245 is slightly misleading as it doesn't actually go to MediaCity but will copy the X50 by running nearby past the Imperial War Museum, according to the Traveline website, which now has the weekday timetable available.

Looking at the map, it will run normal route from Altrincham to Flixton then via 15 route to Barton Road, into the Trafford Centre via the 22/23/23A routes. From the Trafford Centre, it'll run via Trafford Boulevard, Ashburton Road West, Village Way, Warren Bruce Road, Trafford Wharf Road and Trafford Road, terminating around the Exchange Quay Metrolink stop.
679 now been re-painted into Stockport Metroshuttle livery.
there seems to be a 57 reg solo getting painted into the same livery as 679 .
First the first time in a while there's been a Solo out tonight on Arriva's evening 84 service, tonight it was 670 if I remember rightly, whether this will be the last time a Solo is out late from Wythenshawe Depot I dont know
News on the Arriva website about the 245 extension to Exchange Quay via Trafford Centre and Trafford Wharf Road from 2 September.

There's also information up not surprisingly at Trafford Center regarding changes to 245 route and which stands and how frequently its going to run and apparently according to the notices at Trafford Center it will be running to MediaCity.

Other interesting news is that from the same date as the changes to 245 is that the daily evening ML1 is being withdrawn due to a combination of lack of patronage and TfGM not wanting to fund the service anymore and any passengers wanting to get the Tram will be able to use their tickets on 18 & 245 but only when ML1 isn't running

245 will only be running to MediaCity in the same way as the X50 does. Will require a walk across the bridge over the Ship Canal.

ML1 is interesting news, also slightly inconvenient for Metrolink passengers, as it'll mean a walk from the tram stop to the Stretford Mall. Looking at the Traveline website, the last ML1 from Stretford is 1750 daily, returning from Trafford Centre at 1815 Mon-Sat and 1805 Suns. Make sense to allow Metrolink passengers on the 18, as it's a fast route between Sretford and the Trafford Centre. May increase the calls for the Metrolink to extend to the Trafford Centre.
