Nah it'll stay for a bit longer yet, seems pretty reliable & damn quick too! Drivers rarely seem have many complaints about it.
Also noted wythenshawe have withdrawn most of their DLAs which have been replaced by 4161-68. Are wythenshawe due are extra deckers or this our lot? Know there's not a give calling for em it seems.

What drivers think of it is irrelevant as to when it'll leave the depot. As it stands, 2253 was still at Wythenshawe for some time after its sisters had left for new locations and before 2936 was heavily-damaged.
4063 is effectively the cover bus for 2936, having arrived from Bolton a matter of days after the accident. 2253 will probably leave Wythenshawe once the 16 route is withdrawn at the end of April.
Why's the 16 been withdrawn? Makes no sense as a lotta people use it, also which routes will the presidents be transferred onto as they mainly work the 16s?
2426 seems to be going to every depot at the minute saw it on Wednesday out on ML1.
"DLA" 4063 was working on the 19 today. Managed to catch a ride - certainly downgraded in quality since its Bootle days (a hissing noise from the engine whilst the bus was moving, poor ride-quality downstairs and unhealthy-sounding breaks). Commander 2623 was having a day on the 247 - not often that these stray off of the 130 these days from what I see!
Ain't that the truth!
The commanders rarely venture off 130s nowadays, its mixture of them, pulsars & 2740-2749 take turns plus mega rare occurrences of the odd decker. Commanders are nice buses but need interior refresh as do 2740 etc.
Yesterday we had the mega rare occurrence of a decker on the 130.15:58 off picc was worked by 4167, managed very well apart from demolishing half the trees with its roof & its deffo not a fan of astra zenecas giant speed bumps!!!
Does anyone know if Wythenshawe's Daf DLP's see service on a Saturday and if so what routes are the best ones to catch them? Thanks for any help on this.
